Another great find from Indonesia, thanks to MoonJune Records!
Jazzy rock or rocky jazz with "ethnic" flavours (not necessairily limited to Indonesia) and even a little Country for good measure ;-)
If you like your albums played strictly in one style, stay away from this.
I love the diversity of styles and moods as well as the excellent playing by the musicians here and, of course, Andre himself!
Favorite track: Sahara.

Mark Wingfield is always recommended listening for fans of Jazz or Fusion guitar (among the names usually dropped you'll find Alan Holdsworth, Terje Rypdal, Pat Metheny). Nevertheless, this isn't just pure Jazz. I seem to hear more traces of progressive rock than in his other recordings, but probably that's just an early impression... Carsten Pieper

Well, Tarasque is a bit, innit? But the whole album just has its own ... space ... universe? ... that it defines and owns. If you thought these musicians knew what the word "boundary" meant, think again. This is well outside.
Experimental jams. Gorgeous production. Peter Jones
